Healthy Eating | Quinoa Recipe

A healthy diet is a diet that helps to maintain or improve overall health.Following a healthy diet life style add age to your life.If you wanna life healthy live strong start adopting healthy lifestyle.quinoa is one of the world's most popular healthy foods,it is gluten-free,high in protein,fiber and one of the few plant foods that contain all nine essential amino acids.Quinoa is a very healthy option and we should include it in our daily life.We can make many varieties out of it.




Ingredients


1 cup Quinoa

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped capsicum

1/2 cup chopped carrot

1/2 cup chopped beans

1/2 cup green peas

1-2 tbsp.green chili chopped

4-5 curry leaves

2 tbsp.lemon juice

1/2 tsp.cumin seed

1/2 tsp. turmeric powder

Salt

2 tbsp.Ghee

Water

Method


1.Wash Quinoa in running water and let it rest for 5-10 minutes

2.In a pan add 2 tbsp.ghee add  cumin seed and curry leaves when it splutters add onion in it cook till light pinkish in color goes in some turmeric powder mix all well add all the chopped veggies in it add some salt and cook till soft

3.Add quinoa in it mix well add water in it and let it cook for 15 minutes or until it becomes soft

4. When quinoa is done add lemon juice to it mix well dress it with some coriander leaves

5.Serve hot with some salad


Note


1.wash it thoroughly in running water

2.Add double the quantity of water to it
